More about me...

For just over a decade, I have been involved with community outreaches. I would spend my school holidays helping communities as well as leading camps.

I have met a rich man, a man sleeping at the garage station just to get out the rain, a poor farmer in Transkei, a teenager struggling with drugs and sexuality, a burned-out teacher and one thing that I have learned through my years is that everyone has a passionate need for a safe space without prejudice, discrimination and judgement.

Over time became aware of how I was drawn to people who needed help and guidance. This quickly became my passion, to just be present and listening to people unpack their struggles and heartaches.

I quickly then learned that people want to do better than just “okay” or “fine” but they deserve to flourish and thrive in life. Seeing people achieve their potential and thrive makes me happier than a braai with a rugby game. It has even in the past brought a few tears to my eyes.

I love to see people reach their full potential.
Yes, that is me digging!
